Hi all! I’m in Brooklyn for a good long while to get our coworking space set up and open by May 1. We’re starting to plot classes and events, and I’m going to kick it off with some office hours, which we will be encouraging our members to do. It’s a nice service for the community and you inevitably learn so much and meet lots of interesting people. Sign up for an office hours timeslot¬†with me at Makeshift in Brooklyn on May 5 and meet up in our brand-new conference room at our fancy hexagonal table!

Attention Angelenos! On June 8 I will be teaching my Retail Readiness class at Poketo. If you are an independent maker and want to seriously engage with stores and do wholesale, come on by for a giant download from my brain about how to approach stores, make your business presence really look like a business, and have a good relationship with your retailers.

Big thanks to Spartan in Austin for interviewing me for the Spartan Journal last week. If you are curious about how I work and what my desk and notebooks look like, you can read all about it.
