It’s been quiet here as I juggle some small and large projects, but I wanted to keep you posted about a couple things. The biggie, for me, is that I released my eBook Retail Readiness FINALLY. Yeah.
My friend Riley is featured in the June/July issue of American Craft which is on newsstands now, and you will find a quote from me talking about why I love his work. Congrats, Riley! I am also honored to be a juror for the Awards of Excellence at the upcoming American Craft Council San Francisco show this August.
Also in August in Cleveland, OH is WMCfest. What a fantastic lineup and group of organizers! I’m trying to attend, just because this one is so fun.
And then fall is already getting booked up. Late September it looks like I will be somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, more TBA. On October 1, I will be moderating a panel in SF with three amazing authors as part of their big book tour “Make Your Voice Heard: The Intersection of Craft, Creativity, and Activism“. And then I’m heading down to LA to hold a “Retail for Designers: How to Make and Launch a Physical Product” workshop at Adobe MAX. Whew!
That’s it for now. You’ll find me mostly at Makeshift SF, thought I am in spirit at the Brooklyn location too. If you are in NY, please check it out.
